You can fish for yellow fin, black fin, tuna, snook, roosterfish, snapper, grouper, dolphin, sailfish, black marlin, and blue marlin.

There are some of the most beautiful places to fish off the coast. In the tropical waters of Flamingo, Tamarindo, Queopos, Tambor and as well as the Gulfo Dulce and Osa Peninsula on the Pacific Side. You will be able to release it easily because if you place the bait on just right the fish will be caught by the front of the mouth and cannot be injured.

Travel in Costa Rica

A map of Costa RicaImage via Wikipedia When you are thinking about traveling, you should always think about how you are going to get around and how you will be able to get around the country safely. Public transportation is where you will be able to travel safely. This is just something that you might want to think about when you are unable to drive yourself around. You will want to make sure that you came back from your trip safely. The way that you travel is not always safe in Costa Rica, but if you take all the precautions to avoid the dangers, you will be able to enjoy your trip.

This does not mean that the busses, trains, taxis, etc. are in better condition than those in the United States. Actually, the U.S. has some of the cleanest modes of transportation around. However, they are also expensive and do not run very often in many cities.  When it comes to the buses in Costa Rica, they are not one of the most glamorous ways for you to get around, but they are cheap and they run very often.. They’re an easy and affordable way to get around the major cities in the country, and many of the more rural towns that dot the land.

I mentioned before that renting a car is an exceedingly expensive means of getting around, although it very well can be done. If you would really like to rent a car, you will be able to do it at the airport, as well as, various towns. You will be able to rent cars in the largest cities. Keep in mind, though, that the roads are not well paved and the mortality rate for auto vehicles is almost 9 times as bad as it is in the United States. If you aren’t into traveling with a rental car, you can always give up the idea and stay with the public transportation.

For those who are the romantics you will be able to use the train system to help you get from town to town.  This option will allow travelers to experience travel through the lush rainforests and mountainous regions in the nation. There is one problem with train travel, though. However, it is a limited way of getting around and you will find that there isn’t much track for a train to travel. There is not much news as to the expansion of the train, so it may not suit most travelers.

Even though there are lots of fallouts with public transportation in Costa Rica, you will be able to get around quickly and very cheap. You will always be able to find plenty of options for you to travel, however, it is a great way to save some money if you use public transportation. Also, it is a good way of getting around the country without having to deal with other people’s road rage. You will want to give it some time, but if you will be able to be amazed if you use the public transportation in Costa Rica.

Singapore Marriott HotelImage via Wikipedia Are you planning on going to Costa Rica and need a place to stay?  You will find that there are plenty of American-named hotels to stay at and be comfortable. This is a good idea for those who don’t want to have the traditional Costa Rican experience.

You may want to try to first go to a Marriott hotel (which is located in San Jose) so you can have beautiful scenery to wake up to every morning, including a 30 ace coffee plantation. The interior is beautifully decorated with antiques to produce an elegant and relaxed setting. You will also notice that the grounds are the most beautiful scenery that you will ever see when you begin to seek the volcanoes, rainforests, and many of the local tours, but then you can always come back to the Marriott for some well-desired comfort.

There is a great place to unwind from the day with two outdoor swimming pools or the wonderful Palmas Wellness and Spa center. When staying at the Marriott, you will enjoy first class restaurants and lounges, and you will also receive a breathtaking view of the mountains. Here, you will find valet parking, safes and mini bars in each room, and you’ll also be able to enjoy the use of the internet, so that you can keep in contact wit the world. Your room offers a nightly refresh service and a complimentary daily paper.

There are plenty of honeymoon packages if you are going to Costa Rica as newlyweds. The package is for $329 a night, and includes a breakfast from the Antigua restaurant; a bottle of Concha & Toro upon arrival and fresh roses cut and brought to your room every morning. You will also enjoy the Pura Vida massage and you’ll love the time that you spend at the Palms Wellness and Spa. Then in the evening, enjoy an intimate dinner for two in the Spanish restaurant La Isabela.

You may also want something that is little bit more your style. Choose the La Quinta De Sarapiqui Lodge. You will find that you will want to have reservations for your flights, taxis, and car rentals if you go with these hotels.  There are 23 rooms, each having a fan, a terrace and hot water. You can also enjoy the local pools and a local insect museum that is known as the “Jewels of the Humid Tropics”; there are also butterfly gardens, frog gardens, and a restoration program. If you enjoy bird watching you will love this hotel, as it has a perfect destination for nature lovers.

If you happen to still be looking for a good hotel, you may find that the Four Seasons Resort will be more than willing to accommodate you. You will find this hotel on the Pacific isthmus, but it is surrounded by the golden beaches and some of the finest beach areas of Costa Rica. You will also have a gold course, pools, and even a spa to give you all the relaxing pleasure that you will ever need. All of the guest’s rooms and suites are crafted from the finest wood and stone. You will be able to find class with style when you come to the Four Seasons.
